Who We Are
Our Mission
Lolly’s Wish is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization created out of the desire to give all children the best quality of life possible. After meeting other families and hearing what they go through we realized that these children need a better quality of life. We are here to help give all children and families the little things in life that make life worth living. Whether it’s a new bike built to handle the needs or a playground made accessible to all children.
Where We Came From
In April 2008, we were blessed with our little girl Scarlette Nicole Ricotta. Scarlette is our first child, the first granddaughter and honestly a beautiful gift to us. Since day one she has always laughed, smiled, and touched all of us (as every child does). As the first year went by, everything was perfect! Okay, some crying in the middle of the night but perfect to us! At about one year, we started wondering why she hasn’t crawled, stood, or even scooted. Doctor’s said not to worry and she will “pop up and surprise you all any day”. As days passed our concerns worsened and we started going to doctor’s all over southern California. Finally the news came…Scarlette was diagnosed with SMA type 2 (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) in December of 2009.
